Biography

Miranda Leigh Lambert is an American country music songwriter and singer who was born on 10th November 1983 in Longview, Texas. She is a great country music singer who has been honored greatly. She had her first album ‘Kerosene’ released in 2005 after signing with Epic records in 2003. Her debut single “me and Charlie talking” was released in the summer of 2004.

Miranda Lambertreleased her second album ‘Crazy ex-girlfriend’ on 9th May 2007.She wrote 8 songs in this album. Her third album ‘Revolution’ was released on 29 September 2009. This album consisted of 11 songs co-written with Dave Haywood. Her 4th album ‘For the record’ was released on 1st November 2011. Lambert 5th album ‘Platinum’ was released on February 5th2014 with the 6th album ‘The weight of these wings’ coming on 18th November 2016.

Miranda Lambert has won various awards that totalize to 57 awards. She has won 30 academy of country music awards and has been nominated for the awards 47 times. She has won 5 American country awards and has been nominated 16 times for the awards, she has won 13 country music association awards and nominated for the same 34 times. She has won 7 CMT music awards having been nominated 23 times, she has 2 Grammy awards and has been nominated 12 times for the awards. Lastly she has been nominated for teens choice awards 7 times, billboard awards twice and people’s choice awards thrice but she is yet to win these awards. She has been awarded female vocalist of the year many times and many of her songs such as ‘over you’, ‘mama broken heart’, ‘automatic’ and other songs winning the song of the year awards. Generally Lambert has amassed a lot of awards in her age of 35 years.

Miranda Lambert will kick start the June shows with a major show at Nissan stadium-Nashville in Nashville, TN, a 69143 capacity venue on Saturday June 8th. She will have the other only June show on Friday June 21st at Huntington bank pavilion at Northerly Island in Chicago, IL, a 30000 people venue.

Lambert will have 3 shows in the month of July. The three will be on Wednesday July 17th at a 25000 capacity venue California mid-state fairgrounds in Paso Robles, CA followed by a 16800 venue on Thursday July 18th at Harvey’s outdoor arena-lake Tahoe in Stateline, NV and finally conclude at Cheyenne frontier days in Cheyenne, WY on 24th July.

August will see Lambert perform in 4 shows. The shows will be at Burl’s Creek in Oro, ON, Gorge amphitheatre in Quincy, WA and Allentown fairgrounds in Allentown, PA on 2nd, 8th and 31st respectively. She will conclude august shows on Saturday August 31st at Borgeta events center in Atlantic City, NJ.

On the month of September, Miranda Lambert will have small venue concerts. She will start at a 7596 capacity venue Bank of New Hampshire pavilion in Gilford, NH on 1st September. Then she will perform on a 10000 capacity Mohegan Sun arena-CT in Uncasville, CT on Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th of September. On Thursday the 19th of September, she will be in Michigan at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids a 13184 capacity venue known for concerts, ice hockey, arena football and basketball. Lambert will also perform at BB&T Arena in Highland Heights, KY and Huntington center in Toledo, OH a 9341 capacity venue, before concluding at two more small venues of 14000 at Charleston Coliseum & Convention center-Charleston in Charleston, WV on Friday the 27th of September and Nationwide arena in Columbus, OH on the next day.

On the month of October, Miranda Lambert will have 12 shows starting on a 13500 capacity venue the Cajundome in Lafayette, LA on Thursday October 3rd before performing at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, LA the next day. On Saturday October the 5th, she will be at Centurylink center-La in Bossier city, LA, then at State farm center in Champaign, IL on 10th. On 11th she will be at a 15500 capacity Pinnacle bank arena in Lincoln, NE followed by the Denny Sanford premier center in Sioux Falls, SD the next day. On Thursday 17th, – Miranda Lambert, Elle King, Pistol Annies& Ashley McBryde will be at Fiserv forum in Milwaukee, WI a 17500 capacity venue known for basketball and concerts. This will be followed by shows across multiple states on that month before they conclude on Saturday October 26th at INTRUST bank arena in Wichita, KS for the month of October.

Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris, Pistol Annies and TenilleTonnes will kick start the month of November on the 7th at the John Paul Jones arena in Charlottesville, VA followed by Colonial life arena in Columbia, SC the next day. She will have small venues concerts ranging from 8000 capacity to a 15000 capacity venue of Vystar veterans memorial arena in Jacksonville, Fl on Friday the 22nd. Miranda Lambert, Elle King, Pistol Annies and Ashley McBryde will conclude their shows on Saturday November 23rd at Greensboro Coliseum at Greensboro Coliseum complex in Greensboro, NC.

Miranda Lambert has had very many tours through the years she has been active. Her famous tours include:

  • Platinum tour –it was her 5th tour in support of the 5th album ‘platinum’. The tour started with the first leg beginning in Fort Loramie, Ohio on 10th July 2014 and ending in Honolulu on 20thseptember 2014. The second leg started in Evansville, Indiana on 15th January 2015 ending in Calgary, Alberta on 9thJuly 2015. The third leg dubbed the ‘Roadside bars & pink guitars tour’ began in Billings, Montana on September 25th 2015 and concluded on 10th October 2015. Altogether this tour had six legs with 86 shows in North America and 3 shows in Europe bringing the total to 89 shows.
  • Keeper of the flame tour –it was the 6th tour of Miranda Lambert starting in Austin, Texas on April 30th 2016 and concluding in West Palm Beach, Florida on September 10th
  • Highway Vagabond tour –it was the 7th tour of Lambert in support of ‘the weight of these wings’ her 6th It started in Evansville, Indiana on 26th January 2017 and ended in White Springs, Florida on october21st 2017 with a total of 50 shows.
  • Livin’ like Hippies tour –it began in Greenville, South Carolina on 18th January 2018 and conclude in Grand Junction, Colorado on July 17th It was supporting her 6th album and had 27 shows in total.
